Welcome to 6th Grade!
My Philosophy
My aim as a teacher is to encourage a love for learning in my students. Never stop learning new things and being inquisitive! I believe we can learn as much from our failures as we can from our successes. Every child has been given a unique set of gifts and talents that must be nurtured. I do my best to encourage critical thinking and creativity. School should be challenging and also, enjoyable.
I'm very grateful for the teachers who shared their love of Jesus and Our Lady. The Church has been so important to me throughout my life. I hope to share my faith with you while teaching History.
My Story
I am so blessed to be a new member of the St. Albert's School community!!
I have been teaching for over 25 years, mostly for the Archdiocese. I can still remember the names of the first students I taught! I've taught preschool, 4th grade, and high school. I enjoy teaching so much because I love to learn, but most importantly, I enjoy getting to know my students and helping them succeed. I believe in Catholic education and do my best to pass on the faith I've been given. I went to Catholic school for elementary and high school. I have a Masters degree in Education and I'm certified to teach K-12. Currently, I'm continuing my education in graduate Pastoral Studies.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends. Also, I love to paint with watercolor, sew, and create in Photoshop. I love being in nature and enjoying God's beautiful creation. Lastly, I think dogs are awesome and I hope to get a new puppy soon!
