My Philosophy
As a Catholic School educator, I am able to share my faith with my students and help cultivate a classroom where students develop and deepen their relationships with God and their fellow classmates.
As an ELA teacher, I am committed to give my students the verbal and written language skills needed to better understand the world around them. I am thrilled to be able to share my love of reading with the students at St. Albert the Great School.
My Background
I have been teaching fifth grade in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1986. I taught at St. Martin of Tours School for many years before coming to St. Albert the Great School in 2005.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Applied Educational Technology, both from Chestnut Hill College.
I am certified by the state of Pennsylvania in the areas of Elementary Education (K-6) and Educational Technology (K-12). I am also a trained peer mediator from the Good Shepherd Mediation Program.
I also serve as the Assistant Princial. I am very proud to be a member of Saint Albert the Great School family.
