We start this year with the availability of new tools and new strategies in dealing with COVID-19 in our school. We will operate without many of the previously enacted restrictions designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This will make the classroom experience more enjoyable. We will still receive guidance from the Montgomery County Department of Health, the CDC and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
All of the mitigation strategies used in the height of the pandemic remain ready to implement if needed throughout the year. We will continue with good daily facility hygiene, good personal hygiene, good ventilation and a 5 full day nursing staff. Current guidance recommends someone testing positive with COVID-19 isolate for 5 days and mask for 5 days. If you are sick please stay home.
Contact tracing is not required at this time. Masking is optional. The virtual option will not be used this year for a short absence.
We will continue to monitor the situation with guidance from the Montgomery County Department of Health, the CDC and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Our Health and Safety plan from 2020 and 2021 is in place if needed but will not be posted at this time. We will no longer have the need for a formal PCR team of faculty. Any questions this year please forward to our nurses at [email protected].
Thank you and we look forward to a great year ahead!!
